First Humbermud Expo! A Success

Organisers have hailed the inaugural humberMUD Expo! a big success. The four-day programme included six diverse events aimed at different audiences.

Those events included a sell-out Old Technologies Ball that transformed former warehouse FRuIT into a spectacular dinner dance venue, with live jazz from the Lyn Acton Trio, gramophone DJs It's A Wind Up, food by Fudge and an exhibition of historic computer equipment.

Humbermud Expo! Begins

humberMUD Expo! October 21st - 24th @ FRuIT, Humber Street, Hull

The inaugural humberMUD Expo! got under way with an evening that incorporated film screenings, film-makers and some sound legal advice courtesy of a leading law firm.

The night was the first of four days of events scheduled by the local networking and knowledge-sharing co-operative humberMUD, all of which emphasise the importance of creativity and highlight the strength of media and creative businesses in Hull and the Humber. An audience of around 80 delegates also enjoyed the opportunity to forge business links and meet fellow creatives.
